Microsoft CSP

A Microsoft CSP is a participant in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program. Launched in July 2014, the Microsoft CSP program enables partners to directly manage their entire Microsoft cloud customer lifecycle. Microsoft CSPs utilize dedicated in-product tools to directly provision, manage, and support customer subscriptions.

There are two types of CSP: indirect and direct. Indirect is intended for CSPs who want to sell Microsoft cloud solutions but would rather outsource functions like billing and customer support. Direct is for CSPs who already have support and billing capabilities.

In late September 2017, there were approximately 35,000 Microsoft CSPs around the globe.
