AppDirect Expands Leadership Team to Drive Cloud Adoption and Empower Businesses Globally

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., August 5, 2014 – AppDirect, the leading cloud service marketplace and management company, announced today that it has made two appointments to its leadership team: Stephen Banbury joins as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, while Mark Beebe joins as Vice President of Customer Operations. With these strategic hires, AppDirect gains deep expertise in customer service and channel strategy to support its rapid expansion and scalability.

Banbury joins AppDirect with more than 20 years of marketing experience with both B2B and consumer companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Commercial Segment Marketing at Symantec, a role in which he was responsible for leading the company’s go-to-market strategy, product marketing, pricing, customer lifecycle, and integrated marketing across emerging channels and verticals such as telecom, managed service providers, and cloud service providers. Prior to Symantec, he served as senior director of worldwide partner marketing at McAfee.

Beebe comes to AppDirect with over 15 years of experience building and running global client services, strategic account management, support, and business operations for pioneering enterprise technology companies. Prior to AppDirect, he built and ran the client services organization for RichRelevance, a leading provider of digital marketing and analytics solutions across the web, store, and mobile for top retailers. Previously, Beebe served as GM and Head of Customer Success at Thomson Financial / Reuters.
