Early on, our co-founders, Nicolas Desmarais and
Daniel Saks, studied what makes companies great,
and found clear values were a defining component.
They knew the values they developed would create and define the culture at AppDirect. It would determine who joined and who didn’t, and how to define performance success at AppDirect. The values would shape everything, and needed to be enduring.
They wanted the values to be not only aspirational, but authentic. Together, they white-boarded numerous values, and narrowed it to 5. They believed these 5 were the most inclusive and authentic for the company they wanted to build. Our values have not changed since that day.
