What is AppDirect?

AppDirect is a B2B commerce platform company dedicated to helping technology advisors, providers, and businesses simplify the way they buy, sell, and manage technology. Until now, AppDirect has been serving technology advisors and their customers under the AppSmart brand.

AppDirect is aligning its AppDirect and AppSmart entities under a single brand identity. This alignment is driven by significant opportunities in the provider, buyer, and advisor markets that AppDirect serves.

The alignment of brands under AppDirect will be phased in over a number of months. In January 2023, customers will start seeing changes on our Marketplace, website, and social media.

What resources are available to technology advisors?

The Marketplace brings tools, training, and resources together in one place. Within the Marketplace you can also industry’s most robust technology services catalog, with more than 600 of the world’s top providers, giving you direct and easy access to virtually any technology solution your customer needs.

If you are a current advisor and you haven’t already, follow these steps to sign in to the Marketplace:

Step 1: Attend an Advisor Onboarding Session

Step 2: You will receive an activation email from the Marketplace. This automated email will enable you to establish your username and password.

Step 3: Sign in to the Marketplace. If you need help, please reach out to your Channel Sales Manager to schedule an onboarding and training.

Do I have to pay a fee to purchase services through the Marketplace?

No. You do not need to pay a fee to purchase services through our Marketplace.

As a business, can I buy directly from the Marketplace?

As a business customer, you can purchase services directly from the Marketplace, however we recommend that you work with one of our experienced technology advisors. Your technology advisor will work with you to assess your needs, evaluate your options, and complete your purchase.
