The ‘Express’ Lane for Microsoft CSPs
By Dan Saks / March 17, 2015

Since it was launched in 2010, Microsoft Office 365 has gained incredible traction in the market. Upwards of one billion people use Office around the globe, and Microsoft has been very successful in transitioning users to Office 365, the cloud-based version of its flagship suite. Today, Office 365 is Microsoft’s fastest growing commercial product ever.
We’re ready to help Microsoft Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) seize that opportunity and go even faster.
Today, we’re proud to announce AppDirect Express, our program that enables providers to sell Microsoft cloud solutions, including Office 365, to businesses of any size. Working closely with Microsoft, we designed Express to map directly to its requirements for partners participating in the Cloud Solution Provider program, making Express a fast and cost-effective way for providers to sell Microsoft solutions.
We’re introducing Express at the Microsoft Cloud Hosting Summit in Bellevue, Washington, which is the perfect place to talk about CSP enablement. Listening to partners and prospects at the event, it’s clear that everyone is excited about the possibilities that Microsoft’s expanded CSP program offers, and we’re thrilled to offer the industry’s leading technology platform to help providers get to market quickly.
One of the most unique aspects of our Express program is the ability for providers to not only offer Microsoft cloud solutions, but also to bundle them with other leading business products. We’re excited to partner with GoDaddy and Intel Security right out of the gate to maximize value for CSPs and their customers alike. As Steven Aldrich, Senior VP, Business Applications at GoDaddy, commented: “Small businesses from 25 different countries have used GoDaddy to connect their personalized domain name to Microsoft Office 365. Now, through AppDirect Express, GoDaddy can help deliver the best domain name and personalized Office 365 experience to Microsoft Cloud Solution Providers, right out of the box.”
From Intel Security, Michael Baker, VP of Sales for Telco, SaaS, and Managed Services, added: “Intel Security has continued to transform the security market through solutions and services to help our partners and customers build sustainable security practices. By collaborating with AppDirect and Microsoft we are extending our vision and offering the first security solution sold with Microsoft Office 365 through Microsoft’s new Cloud Solution Providers program.”
