O Canada! AppDirect Opens New Office in Montreal

San Francisco is a world-famous hub for tech talent, but in today’s global cloud economy, awesome software engineers can be found just about anywhere. That’s why we’re incredibly excited to announce the opening of AppDirect’s new office in one of the world’s premier cities—Montreal, Canada.

Montreal is famous for having the largest French-speaking population outside of Paris, the NHL team that has won the most Stanley Cups (the Canadiens), and Canada’s largest church, St. Joseph’s Oratory. Increasingly, it’s also being seen as a thriving city for startups and engineers. It’s the ideal environment for growing our technology team, not to mention AppDirect’s global footprint as a whole.

After the office opening, we officially welcomed our Montreal crew to the AppDirect team with a two-week session in San Francisco. Remy, Francois, Marc, Dave, Pierre, Daniel, and Christian met their Bay Area colleagues, and were given a proper introduction to all of the sights and sounds of the City by the Bay, including trips to Alcatraz and Napa Valley. Since then, another engineer, Guillaume, has also joined the Montreal team.

We now have offices in San Francisco, Boulder, Ottawa, and Montreal, with additional presence in London, Munich, and Hamburg. We’ve more than doubled the size of our team in the past year, and we’re on pace to grow even faster in the next few months. Where will we go to next?
