Measuring How Far We’ve Come

Ten million users, 80 countries, a 300 percent increase in application marketplaces, a 150 percent boost in registrations—these are just a few numbers that provide a snapshot of the momentum we’ve experienced over the past year. In that time, we’ve seen incredible growth across the company, from partnerships, to application integrations, to hiring, and more.

To give you a fuller picture of how far we’ve come, the last time we really paused to take stock of our progress was February of 2012. Our platform powered just three marketplaces. Today, we work with more than a dozen of the world’s leading service providers, including Comcast, Staples, Deutsche Telekom, Rackspace, and many more.

More marketplaces also means greater reach: In early 2012, our platform delivered software to thousands of SMBs in North America; today AppDirect-powered marketplaces reach 10 million SMBs in more than 80 countries worldwide.

A year ago, we also had far fewer applications in our catalog. Today, we work with some of the top business application providers in the industry, from Google and Symantec, to McAfee and Microsoft, and many others.

None of this would have been possible without the help of our partners. We’ve only been able to reach these milestones because people have believed in us and our vision for a global ecosystem for cloud services.
