AppDirect, TeliaSonera Forge New Frontiers for Small Businesses

At AppDirect, we’ve worked hard to build a global marketplace platform for cloud services that now has users in more than 80 countries around the world. This global focus makes our latest news even more exciting: Today, AppDirect is announcing a major new deal with Sweden’s largest telecom company, TeliaSonera, to power a series of marketplaces across the Nordic-Baltic region.

For AppDirect, this partnership is significant in a number of ways. Not only does it showcase our ability to deploy and scale rapidly—with multiple marketplaces launching in multiple countries within a short period of time—but it also marks our entrance into Sweden and other locations in the Nordic-Baltics. We’re excited to help TeliaSonera deliver cloud services to even more small businesses in even more countries worldwide.

We don’t always get the chance to make in-person announcements, but this time Daniel Saks, our president and co-CEO, was able to share the TeliaSonera news at the Telco Cloud World Forum in London. Members of our team have been here for three days, meeting with leaders in the telecom space and discussing the future of cloud services. As we move forward, we’re confident that AppDirect and TeliaSonera will be at the forefront of delivering cloud services in Europe and around the world.
