AppDirect Takes Home Red Herring Top 100 Award

We received some great news late last week: AppDirect is officially a Red Herring Top 100 North America winner!

Richard Dufty, our VP of Global Sales and Strategic Partnerships, traveled down to Monterey, California, for the three-day Red Herring 100 North America event. He wowed the crowd with an overview of AppDirect, and accepted the award on behalf of the entire AppDirect team. Here’s what Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring, said about the competition:

“In 2014, selecting the top 100 achievers was by no means a small feat. In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs had crossed significant milestones so early. But after much thought, rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across North America to the top 100 winners. We believe AppDirect embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. AppDirect should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was very strong.”

Similarly, Richard had high praise for the caliber of the event: “RedHerring 100 was a fantastic event. Their ability to showcase an impressive group of entrepreneurs, as well as foster candid and transparent conversations, resulted in many new, invaluable relationships by the time the event was all said and done.”

The Red Herring Top 100 recognition is a great way to kick off an exciting summer here at AppDirect. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be announcing new partnerships and new platform capabilities that will open opportunities worldwide. Our team will also take part in some of the summer’s most anticipated industry events, including the Cloud Foundry Summit and the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.

We’re also excited to announce the now-confirmed date of our second annual AppDirect Partner Summit. This year’s event will take place September 23-25th in San Francisco, at the Julia Morgan Ballroom. Stay tuned for more updates on the event, including insight into panel discussions, keynotes, and some fun cultural activities! The official Partner Summit website is set to launch shortly.
