AppDirect Sponsors Cloud Channel Summit 2011

The AppDirect team was at the Cloud Channel Summit yesterday in Mountain View, Calif to network and share best practices. Many of the most influential players in the cloud computing market attended the event to talk about opportunities for channels and Independent Software Vendors to create partnerships.

AppDirect sponsored the event and participated in one of the panels about new market opportunities for channels. During the panel, Tim FitzGerald, vice president at Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas, drew attention to the necessity for channels to partner with marketplace-as-a-service providers.
