AppDirect Makes Waves in Europe

This week, AppDirect is in London for the Telco Cloud Forum (TCF), the world’s largest gathering of executives in the telecom and cloud sectors. In true AppDirect style, we have a jam-packed agenda planned for our time here at TCF.

Yesterday, we hosted a standing room-only panel discussion featuring several of our partners, including DocuSign, GoDaddy, Microsoft, and TeliaSonera. There’s still a lot of room for debate about cloud services best practices, and it was fascinating to hear our partners talk about which strategies have worked best for them.

Earlier today, I gave a keynote on enabling cloud service monetization—and most importantly, making sure providers know how to get it right—that covered guidelines and best practices for everything from discovery and provisioning, to billing and go-to-market strategies.

We’re only a day or so into TCF, but one thing is clear: Everyone is talking about cloud services, but what’s missing from the conversation are practical strategies on how to create real partnerships that drive real revenue and value. As the industry leader, AppDirect is here to fill in those blanks. We couldn’t be more excited to bring people together from across the ecosystem to share best practices and help the market for cloud services grow.

The TCF actually serves as the perfect backdrop to talk about our recent successes in Europe. We’ve seen rapid growth across EMEA, with new offices in London and Paris, and growing teams in Stockholm and Munich. As part of that expansion, we’re excited to announce that Tim Marsden has joined AppDirect as General Manager and Head of EMEA. A former executive at BCSG, Telefonica, and HP, Tim will play a critical role in accelerating our growth in the region even more.

In late June, I’ll once again be joining Tim and other AppDirect team members in London for the Cloud World Forum. If you’ll be at the event, let us know; we’d love to meet you there.
