AppDirect Announces $8.5M in Series A Funding

The past year has been a whirlwind of activity at AppDirect. We've announced several major partnerships with global brands, such as Deutsche Telekom, Europe's largest telecom company, and leading Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider Rackspace. We've also added dozens of high-profile applications to our ever-growing syndication network—including Google Apps, DocuSign, New Relic, and SendGrid—all while rapidly growing our brilliant team of cloud experts.

And the best part is, we're just getting started.

That's why we're excited to announce that AppDirect has secured $8.5 million in expansion capital. The financing, which represents our Series A round, means we can launch more and more game-changing cloud marketplaces faster than anyone thought possible. The round is being led by existing investor, iNovia Capital, and comes just over a year after AppDirect was officially launched at the Under the Radar Conference in San Francisco.

We're proud of the progress we've made since then, and the funding sets the stage for a number of new initiatives that we'll be introducing over the next few months. These include ongoing updates to our industry-leading platform, developer outreach projects, and the launch of even more big-name partner marketplaces.
